I learn and I grow, very much like the students in my class. The fundamentals of my teaching philosophy are to push the boundaries of innovation in assignments, to build an inclusive space to discuss current design topics and to maintain best-of-class technical best practices.
You have to show me stuff, not tell me. I encourage my learners to discuss and to navigate within themselves the rationale of their making. Building that safe space is so important for everyone to feel welcomed to share candidly feedback so that we can all learn.
My experience as adjunct faculty is mostly focused on visual design that aims to improve the user experience of a product through the lens of human-centered approach.
